Whether for rich guitars, distorted synths or aggressive drums. This plugin offers dynamic and flexible distortion that can beapplied specifically to certain frequency ranges.
In Polydrive – Multiband Distortion, a waveshaper can be applied independently to each frequency band. The incoming audio signal is first divided into several frequency ranges, with each band being processed by its own waveshaper or using a hyperbolic tangent function (tanh) to shape and distort the sound. By combining these separate distortion processes, the overall tone can be sculpted with great precision, ranging from subtle warmth to aggressive, musically driven destruction.
